An evening of song and sweets welcoming Shabbat. We chant, we sing, we drum, and we travel through traditional liturgy in a non-traditional way. The evening often includes a potluck dinner, wine and sumptuous desserts. We conclude with a study related to the weekly Torah portion or upcoming holiday.
Guided by tradition and energized by our search for spiritual fulfillment, our services focus on learning the liturgy, and exploring the Torah portion as it relates to our life.
As Shabbat winds down and the first three stars appear in the sky, we make the separation between Holy time and the ordinary. We sing, dance, study and nosh. We renew and restore ourselves, welcoming the week ahead.
